About us

 

Court Administration (CA) was established on January 5, 2004 as a direct administrative institution subordinate to the Minister of Justice, which organises and provides the organisational management of district (city) courts, regional courts (further - courts) and Land Registry Offices.

          CA providing the court work organization acts in several directions. CA is responsible for human resource management for the courts and Land Registry Offices, organization of trainings for judges, accounting and budget planning, providing of material-technical needs, IT management in courts and Land Registry Offices.

To assure the performance of its functions, the CA shall:[1]

o       in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, provide for the courts' performance analysis and planning;

o       provide for selection of judge candidates;

o       prepare propositions on the number of chairmen of the court and election of chairmen of the court;

o       organise training for judges and court personnel;

o       provide for the preparation and conduct of judges' conferences;

o       prepare and produce to the Ministry of Justice the reports, propositions and recommendations on the situation in judicial agencies as well as organise cooperation with non-governmental organizations;

o       pursuant to the regulatory acts, provide for the consideration of applications, complaints and propositions and reception of persons;

o       prepare and produce pursuant to the regulatory acts the propositions on required financing from the national budget for the implementation of the activities stipulated in the regulatory acts and relevant policy planning documents and performance of the tasks of the agency;

o       assure financially and materially-technically the operation of courts;

o       provide for statistics of the court operation;

o       control the judicial unified information system creation and use;

o       provide for the unified computer-based land register organisational and technical maintenance;

o       appraise the performance of functions and efficiency of the internal control system as well as provide for other inspections in the judicial agencies;

o       carry out the financial audit in the judicial agencies;

o       keep judges' personal files and execute required documents.
